Following last week’s BUCS Equestrian Championships, we take a look at who came out on top in both Team and Individual finals from this year’s event.
Over 700 riders took part in U.K. university Equestrian events this year, competing in mini-leagues and regionals in order to qualify for the biggest equestrian event on the student calendar, the 2021-22 BUCS Equestrian Championships.
The three-day event took place at Bishop Burton College Equestrian Centre in Yorkshire, England where over 40 riders from universities around the U.K. competed across two disciplines to be crowned BUCS Champions.
We look at the winners of both Team and Individual finals of both Dressage and Show Jumping disciplines from this year’s Championships.

Overall BUCS Team Champions:
Cambridge University
With 1st place in the Team Show Jumping finals and 3rd in Team Dressage, Cambridge University were crowned Overall BUCS Team Champions with a total team score of 132.

Betty Baker
After winning the Dressage Overall Title, Betty Baker from Oxford Brookes University followed up with some lovely jumping rounds on Friday to claim the Overall Individual National BUCS Championship.
