The 2021-22 BUCS and BT Outdoor Athletics Championships will take place at Chelmsford Athletics Stadium from 30th April to 2nd May 2022.
The upcoming three-day event will feature over 50 finals in 20 different events in what will be the final Championship event of the 2021/22 athletics calendar.
Over 1,600 students from universities across the UK will compete at the highest level as students look to finish their season off with a gold medal.
Where are this year’s Championships?
The 2021/22 Outdoor Athletics Championships will be held at the Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre (CSAC).
CSAC is a sporting venue in Essex, England which offers first class indoor and outdoor athletics facilities, significantly for elite athletes.
Event Schedule
Heats for all events will mainly take place throughout Saturday to decide Sunday’s semi-finals and Monday’s finals.

BT announced as headline partner of Outdoor Athletics
This week, BUCS announced their new partnership with global telecommunications company BT as they become the headline partner of the 2021/22 Outdoor Athletics Championships.
The partnership will allow BUCS to raise the profile of such a well-respected event which in the past has featured several Olympians including Holly Bradshaw (the first-ever British pole vault Olympic medallist), Laura Muir (Silver in the 1500m at Tokyo 2020) and Adam Gemili (4th in the 200m in Rio).
