We look back at an action-packed weekend of university esports, highlighting all the results from the BUEC Spring 2023 Finals.
Hundreds of students flocked to the NEC Arena in Birmingham this past weekend to conclude the BUEC Spring 2023 season. After eight weeks of intense competition in the Spring leagues, the best UK university esports teams battled it out to be crowned BUEC champions in their respective titles.
During three days of excitement, drama, and incredible gameplay, students showcased their skills in a variety of different games including Valorant, Rocket League, League of Legends, and more.

Where did the Spring 2023 Finals take place?
The Insomnia Gaming Festival, which is the largest gaming festival in the UK, once again played host to the annual BUEC Spring Championships.
As well as hosting the BUEC Spring Finals, the annual festival brings together thousands of gamers in one space for a weekend, providing students with an opportunity to network and build relationships within the esport industry.
The combination of high-level gameplay, enthusiastic crowds, and a vibrant gaming culture make the Festival a must-attend event for any esports fan or aspiring professional gamer in the UK.
BUEC Spring 2023 Champions
The 16 teams that advanced to the finals had battled relentlessly throughout the season to secure their spot in the championship event.
