One of the highlights of the student volleyball calendar takes place this weekend, with the finals of the 2021/22 Student Cup.

The first event of the end-of-season calendar of national volleyball finals will see 16 men’s teams and 16 women’s team compete throughout the weekend in pursuit of the Volleyball England Student Cup.

The Student Cup is an annual volleyball competition which is open to all U.K. college and university teams. The weekend event is one of the highlights of the year for student volleyball players and this year, will take place at the University of East Anglia.

On Saturday, the 16 teams will be split into four different pools, with the top two earning a spot in the quarterfinals. The knockout phase will then begin on Sunday, leading to the final’s for both men’s and women’s competitions on Sunday afternoon which will be shown live on the Volleyball England YouTube channel.

2021-22 Student Cup Finalists

Reigning champions Coventry University Men’s Team and hosts University of East Anglia Women’s Team return to defend their titles. They will be joined by the winners and runners-up from qualification pools which took place in November, earlier this season.
