Clay Pigeon shooting, also known as skeet shooting, is one of two shooting sports available at the UK university level.
Shooting clubs compete in inter-university fixtures throughout the year and students also have the opportunity to represent their institution in a national-level competition, at the annual BUCS Clay Pigeon Championships.
For shooters with aspirations to compete on the international stage, UK universities can provide students with the excellent facilities that are required in order to develop their skills and pursue their Olympic dreams.

Clay Pigeon Shooting Championships
When studying at a UK university, students have the opportunity to compete in the annual BUCS Clay Pigeon Shootings Championships.
The Championships take place over two days and include both Men’s and Women’s Championship events.
Competitors are tasked with shooting 100 birds over 13 different stands, with BUCS Points getting awarded for the top 4 placing Men, and the top 4 placing Women.
