U.K. University Sport offers a year round competitive Water Polo schedule
From October each academic year U.K. university water polo teams will commence their league competition and have weekly fixtures against other university water polo teams. As the season progresses, Water polo teams will also compete in several knockout competitions.
The National Trophy will see some of the nation’s strongest university water polo teams compete against each other over six knock out rounds last through until May. There are further regional knockout competitions that typically start from the end of November each year, giving universities the opportunity to compete for regional boasting rights.
U.K. University Sport offers a year round competitive water polo schedule.

Many universities will also employ experienced coaches to help players reach their full potential in the sport.

U.K. university sport scholarships are awarded in different ways at each university, some scholarships may help to reduce tuition fees whereas others may help to provide a support package to cover the cost of specialist training and support. The standard required to achieve a water polo scholarship will vary between universities.
We are happy to provide free guidance and support for any student who wishes to be evaluated for a potential UK university water polo scholarship.
